we now have a new 50-man ventrilo server running...please see our new forums @ www.kiwisguild.tk for details (you may require approval from an officer before being able to access much of the new forum)New Ventrillo Server is up, you may need to upgrade to the latest version of Ventrillo (http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php) as it's been recently updated.

I'll try and leave this running, but the IP will change occasionally, and i'll update this post accordingly until i can establish a more stable (or even permanent) IP address.
If anyone needs to use this server please email me ahead of time and i'll endeavour to make sure its running for you (times in Australian EST pls)Cheers Dreads

Great news Dreads, how much does it cost to host per 6 month/year? I'm thinking of getting it, but a bit worried about the charges. Damn the US Dollar and it's global pwn.

This is the freebee 8-person server at the moment. I'm looking into the options for the unlimited version...

ventriloservers.biz/The above have a Hong Kong based Vent server, cost is US$14.95/month for a 50 channel server. Unfortunetly the next size down is 35 which may not be big enough if you want to use it for MC runs. There are smaller sizes available if we are doing smaller raids only. IF it's going to be used regularly im happy to fork out at least the first months rental on this, but i think we need to sort what our requirements are going ot be 1st. Cheers Dreads

Can we get some discussion on this please. I've heard that Dryice was looking into hiring a TeamSpeak server aswell. Does anyone have an opinion either way about Vent vs T/S? My preference is Vent as i already have it My free 8man server will continue to run until we decide on another. Dreads

Hopefully we can get some groups together for instances/pvp with everyone on vent. Its a very small download and even if you don't have a mic, being able to listen only is much better than not.
