Well done!!!! You're a big level 60 shaman now who can slaughter toons (alliance) at will, that's the good news. Now for the bad news. Your team's / Parties / raid groups dont need you to do damage at all. They need you for totems and healing. For you to actually get invites to the big end game instances and for you to actually be of any use at all you MUST have Natures Swiftness (NS) and Mana Tide Totem or you will not get invites to Molten Core / Onyxia. If you lie and tell the raid leader you have them when you dont because you think you know better dont even bother coming. That may sound harsh to some of you but when were are fighting monsters that can kill 40 level 60's in under 2 minutes GET WITH THE PROGRAM.
Here it (finally ) is; Restoration 34points (2 spares in Improved Reincarnation)
Tier 1 Talents:- Imp Healing Wave 5points; Tidal Focus 5points
Tier 2 Talents:- None needed i use 2 in Imp Reincarnation because i like it for helping people instance with incase i die while doing it. However it is an unneeded teir (Teir 2) of basically crap talents and if i was more fickle i should probably only waste 1 point here or in ghostwolf and use 3 in Imp strength totem or Imp stoneskin totem.
Tier 3 Talents:- Imp Lesser Healing Wave 5points; Eventide 5points.
Tier 4 Talents:- Imp Mana Spring Totem 5points; Natures Swiftness 1point.
Tier 5 Talents:- Mana Tide Totem 1point.
Enhancement Talents 17points (2 spare in Imp Ghost wolf)
Tier 1 Talents:- Ancestral Knowledge 5points; Sheild specialization.
Tier 2 Talents:- Thundering strikes 5points; Imp ghostwolf 2points (the 2points in here are really only useful for PvP and i would be much better with 3points in either Imp stoneskin totem or Imp strength totem but i dont have the gold to reskill so i still have these 4 wasted points but will reskill before the guild gets into MC).
So there you have it shammies the most common end game build for instanceing as all we mainly do is run in lay a grace of air totem for our rouges and a strength totem for our tanks then heal from the back and earthshock anything that goes for the priest in our party to pull the agro off him. But we are basically a totem layer/secondary healer who gaurds his priest&druid and helps heal his tank and we occasionally get to do some melee damage but i personally prefer to let the rouges do the damage and the tanks do the tanking and not get 1 hit killed for 25% damaged armour.
(P.S. you do not need this build until you go to do Molten Core,Onyxia or Azuregos but you will need to change at least a week in advance to get used to useing Natures Swiftness effectively as being a healer may be foreign to a few of you)
Until then Good Luck on finding that Epic of your dreams Orph
